AmaWaterways will operate its first women-only river cruise in France next Aug—and it’s crediting the departure to travel agents, who director for Australia and New Zealand Steve Richards says have asked for this repeatedly.
“They’ve been telling us they’re seeing more women wanting to travel together, whether that’s life long friends, sisters, mothers and daughters, or solo travellers looking to meet new people in a relaxed, welcoming environment.”
Richards also attributes the departure to a ‘real rise’ in women choosing to travel on their own terms. “This cruise gives them the confidence to do that while enjoying everything AmaWaterways is known for, from exceptional dining and immersive excursions to outstanding wines and genuine connection.”
