Tourism NT has offered agents a round-up of new product in the region, as Kiwi interest in the destination continues to grow post C-19.

In Alice Springs SEIT Small Group Tours has a new Aboriginal Art Experience at Walkatjara Art within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre from Apr-Oct. Participants learn the Aboriginal dot painting technique to create their own masterpiece.
Cost is from AUD399 adults and AUD320 five-15 years. The package includes a tour into Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
There’s also a new seven-day hike along the 221km Larapinta Trail from Intrepid Travel, in conjunction with indigenous operator 100% Finke River Culture & Adventure. The tours, priced from AUD3735pp start next month and there are 10 departures this year.
It is Intrepid’s first trail trip to be guided by First Nation leaders Meanwhile Banubanu Beach Retreat on Bremer Island has reopened after a spruce up of its penthouse bungalow and five deluxe beachfront bungalows, which are priced from $945.35 per night.
Day trippers can take a Bremer Island Escape day trip from Gove Apr-Oct. Cost is AUD179pp, and AUD149 for three-13-year-olds.
There’s also Finniss River Lodge (pictured) which offers six luxury suites near Darwin on a family-owned 50,000 acres.
Options are priced from AUD1450pp per night, including buggy tours, full- and half-day wilderness treks, short walks, and an airboat ride.
Add-ons include crocs and helicopters. New in Kakadu are Injalak art tours, star gazing and the reopening of Gunlom Falls in the national park, while in Darwin the NT Art Gallery and Larrakia Cultural Centre will open in 2026. See more details on the product HERE.
