Emirates Is Offering Clients Confidence

Emirates is highlighting its moves to give clients more confidence when travelling with the airline in the current global climate, ranging from comprehensive travel insurance to increased flexibility.

This includes the introduction of unlimited free date changes for Dubai travel, which was announced 10 Aug, and is available across every type of fare.

There’s also one free date change on tickets booked 02 Apr onwards anywhere on the EK network, and clients can hold a fare for 24 hours at no charge while they finalise their plans.

For those who change their mind about travel altogether, the carrier has substantially reduced refund fees on flights to Dubai, now USD50 (around $85) on Saver fares, USD25 (around $42.50) on Flex economy fares, USD50 on Special and Saver fares, and USD25 on Flex business C1295 fares.

. . . Status

To encourage travel, EK is also offering additional benefits for Emirates Skywards members though to 31 Aug, including 20% fewer Tier Miles required to reach Silver, Gold and Platinum status and 20% bonus Tier Miles on EK and flydubai flights. There’s also a Cash+Miles special rate, with 2000 Miles worth USD30, instead of the usual USD15 (around $51 and $25.50, respectively).

. . . Insurance

EK 2150 reminds agents that its Comprehensive Travel Cover, which includes conflict cover with reimbursement of medical expenses up to USD25,000 is not restricted by government travel advice.

It includes cover for trip cancelation, as well as baggage delay and loss, in addition to unlimited worldwide medical expenses and emergency evacuation.

There’s also accommodation support for those whose flights are disrupted and rebookings at no additional cost if onward connections on other airlines are affected, or EK services are unavailable. See more details HERE.
