Asia Now Show Is Back For 2026

Asia ImageWith more events, and more new suppliers in the line-up, registrations have opened for the Asia Now industry roadshow in Sep.

Travel to Asia is booming and forward bookings are looking better than ever, states Wendy Wu’s Paul Dymond.

“Asia has so much to offer the Kiwi traveller, and the region has the most flights and connections from Auckland and Christchurch than
any other region in the world.”

Agents attending will be able to upskill in new products and destinations at a time when Asia is in hot demand, he adds.

“China alone for Wendy Wu Tours has seen a 45% growth for 2026 on 2025 departures,” he says. “Places like Japan, Vietnam, Korea, and Taiwan still offer great value for New Zealanders, where in other areas of the world the New Zealand dollar doesn’t go far’.

. . . The Line-up

The trade events will be held in Tauranga, Hamilton, Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and this year in Napier too, says Dymond. They will include presentations networking as well as food and drinks with an Asian influence— and there are two $100 Prezzy cards up for grabs at each event.

China Airlines is joining the show for the first time and Exotic Holidays is back as well as Francis Travel Marketing, the Japan National Tourism Organization and the Korean Tourism Organization.

Wendy Wu will also showcase its new styles of touring and expanded fully-inclusive classic range across Asia, says Dymond, while Air New Zealand will offer an update on its product and services to Asia.
