Hosts is a new paid, personalised service to support travellers through Sydney Airport’s T1 international terminal, beginning what the gateway says is a new era for the facility.

The concierge-style service, available to all international passengers, is designed to deliver a seamless experience across arrivals, departures and transfers. The cost is from AUD409 for one-four passengers.
Departing passengers have an appointed host providing end-to-end assistance from a dedicated meeting point, through check-in, security screening, border processing and onwards to the lounge or departure gate.
Arriving passengers are met at the arrivals gate, guided through arrivals and border formalities, baggage claim and to their onward transport.
“We know there’s growing demand for airport services that provide additional support, comfort and convenience,” says, SYD group executive commercial Mark Zaouk. “We’re focused on making every journey through Sydney Airport as smooth and stress-free as possible particularly for passengers who may be unfamiliar with the airport, travelling with family, short on time, or simply looking for greater ease at every stage of their journey.”
The launch follows the recent introduction of the Fast Track paid service at SYD of access to a priority queue before security screening at Terminal 1 (T1) International departures.
A porter service is also available. Further premium services are reportedly also in the pipeline.
