Diwali at Times Square kicked off the festivities on 24 Oct followed by Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the 100th edition of the family event, on 26 Nov.

Then from 04-12 Dec, the city’s largest menorahs are lit each night for Hanukkah, with live music, hot latkes and gifts for children.

The Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes runs at Radio City Music Hall from 04 Nov-04 Jan 2027. Performed at the venue since 1933, the dance show has ‘elaborate costumes’ and ‘breathtaking’ stage effects.

From 06 Nov, Gingerbread NYC returns with bakers convening to recreate NYC landmarks in a gingerbread bake-off; there are more NYC landmarks in miniature at the Holiday Train Show (14 Nov-10 Jan); and the Origami Holiday Tree blooms at the American Museum of Natural History from 23 Nov.

Concerts and performances run throughout Nov and Dec for the festive season including, The Nutcracker and A Christmas Carol, and a wealth of activities under the tree at Rockefeller Center.

. . . Jan Too

The festive events continue through Dec into Jan, including the iconic Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball Drop; a performance by the Vienna Boys Choir; and the annual Crafts at the Cathedral with gifts and goods from artists throughout the US at The Cathedral of St John the Divine.

There’s also the Omnium Circus’ new production I’mPossible Holiday Wonders. See more HERE.
