Luxury Escapes Expands, Incentive

Luxury Escapes’ first New Zealand trade incentive is generating strong industry engagement as it reports solid Kiwi industry growth, driven by a larger selling-agent network and increased orders from existing sellers.

The incentive gives its New Zealand Agent Hub members the chance to win travel prizes, culminating in a Dec grand prize. “We are really excited to launch our first New Zealand-focused trade incentive, and it’s been fantastic to see the response from our trade partners already,” says Luxury Escapes’ Auckland-based bdm Elaine Patton. “…agents have the chance to win one of two luxury weekend getaways in New Zealand, as well as two incredible Bali escapes, so there’s plenty to get excited about…”

. . . Invested

The company has a number of other initiatives planned as part of its broader investment in the New Zealand trade.

These include plans for a tours incentive, where agents can earn a spot of their own on a Luxury Escapes tour. The company says it also continues to back its trade partners ‘with market-leading commissions’ and initiatives including its first New Zealand Luxury Escapes famil to Bali. Plus, it says more than 60% of its Kiwi customers are returning clients, giving agents confidence to recommend a brand that builds long-term customer loyalty.

. . . The Details

Agents earn points in the current incentive by completing activities, with each point counting as an entry. The Oct prize is a two-night stay at QT Auckland with breakfast, ‘plus luxury luggage and treats for the winner’s office’. The Nov winner will receive two-nights at The Spire Queenstown, plus luxury luggage and treats for the office.

The Dec grand prize is a six-night Bali stay for two across AYANA Resort Bali, The Meru Sanur and Double-Six Seminyak, including airport transfers and breakfasts.

The runner-up will win a four-night stay at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali, including breakfasts and airport transfers for two adults.

. . . Naughton Joins

Former Air Canada regional boss Vic Naughton (pictured) has joined the Luxur y Escapes Agent Hub team as senior manager retail distribution. Luxury Escapes says he has extensive experience in the travel industry and is already well acquainted with the Kiwi trade.

He is charged with overseeing the Agent Hub bdms and strengthening relationships with agency partners across the region.
