British Airways is retrofitting its 12 A380s to feature what it says will be the world’s biggest business class cabin.

The 106 Club Suite seats (pictured above) will take up the aircraft’s entire upper deck. In keeping with the move to premiumisation at many airlines, there will be a reduction in overall capacity but more real estate for premium cabins.
The BA in-flight transformation includes new seats in every cabin with upgraded in-flight entertainment screens, alongside redesigned galleys and stairways.

. . . Four Cabin Move
Besides the Club Suites, the four cabins across its two decks will feature 12 seats in First, 84 in World Traveller Plus (premium economy, up from 55) and 215 in World Traveller (economy, down from 303).
The first completed A380 will enter service ‘in the coming months’. New First suites are designed with a luxury hotel feel. For customers travelling together in the centre seats, the divider opens to create a shared lounge.
The Club Suite seats will be in four distinct cabin zones, in a space offering a more intimate feel, complemented by dedicated dwell areas, Club Kitchens and revamped galley spaces that encourage customers to move and relax in-flight.
The refreshed economy product includes larger entertainment screens, wider seats and upgraded bedding. Premium economy passengers get bigger IFE screens and privacy wings, alongside new bedding and pillows.
BA is also in the process of upgrading its Heathrow lounges.
