Holland America Line has opened its 2028 Europe season, offering its highest number of European port calls in nearly a decade, due to its expanded year-round deployment.
Alongside a record number of visits to Norway, Spain, Ireland and the Netherlands, is a focus on the 2028 season, says vp development and revenue planning Paul Grigsby. “We built each season around moments travellers can only experience at certain times of year, from the Netherlands in full bloom dur ing spring to winter escapes in the Mediterranean and Canary Islands and long summer days along Europe’s coastlines.”

. . . The Line Up The 2028 collection begins with winter cruises aboard Nieuw Statendam Jan-Mar, a series of departures ranging from seven to 14 days exploring the Canary Islands, Spain, Portugal as well as Morocco.
Over spring, Mar-May, Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Nieuw Amsterdam and Zuiderdam will sail throughout the Mediterranean, the Low Countries and Northern Europe, with itineraries ranging from seven to 14 days.
For summer, Jun-Aug, all five of HAL’s ships sail throughout Europe on voyages ranging from seven to 35 days, with destinations including Norway, Iceland, the British Isles, the Baltic, Greece, Croatia and also Türkiye.
Autumn, Sep-Nov, will see Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Nieuw Amsterdam and Volendam continue sailing throughout the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, with voyages from seven to 48 days in length, with seven- to 14-day options continuing through to early Dec. See more HERE.
