G Adventures New Zealand key accounts manager Kim du Plessis is encouraging agents to join her on the company’s annual Raise the Community 10 km Walk, this year in Auckland on 25 Jul.
“This is more than just a 10km walk. It is a chance to connect, challenge yourself, have fun, and make a meaningful difference with every step you take,” says du Plessis (pictured: with G Adventures founder Bruce Poon Tip). “Together, our footsteps will create a ripple effect of positive change, helping support the communities and causes that matter.” Agents are urged to wear purple and bring their friends, family, and colleagues along.

Entry for the fundraiser is a $10pp donation towards G’s non-profit organisation Planeterra, which can be collected on the day. The 10km walk starts at 0900 and is a round trip from Slattery & Sons (102 Quay Street, Auckland CBD). There will be a prize giving at 1115.

Awards up for grabs include a Purple Champion award, for the participant who fully embraces the purple spirit; a Purple Rising Star award, for the youngest participant; and The Ripple Effect award, for the team or family making a bigger impact together.
