United Airlines is offering clients a little more elbow room with the launch of a new offering in Economy Plus—a row of even more spacious seats that will feature on its new Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
The product (pictured) will be offered on the carrier’s US domestic services from later this northern fall, with plans to expand the offering to UA’s international services expected to launch by early 2027.
There will be one UA Economy Plus row on each XLR, featuring custom-designed tables stretching from armrest to armrest across the open middle seats, this table featuring a soft leather-like covering, and two indentations for cups.
. . . More Leg Room
Alongside this extra elbow room, the row will offer three inches of additional legroom, as with all Economy Plus seats.
Economy Plus will be available for sales later this year, with the product expected to feature on its entire order of 50 A321XLRs, and the carrier also hinting at the potential for this to be added on other aircraft types in the future.
More details on the new product, including pricing ,will be revealed before it goes on sale later this year,
