Travelmarvel is moving away from third party rail suppliers, and will operate its own rail tours from 2027.
The announcement coincides with the release of its 2027 Rail Tour Brochure, as it reports increased rail demand from Kiwi travellers.
Sarah Latimore, Travelmarvel’s gm international product and operations, says the launch of its own rail touring program is a ‘fantastic’ addition for Travelmarvel, offering a new way for guests to discover its locations.
“New Zealand travellers have always embraced adventure and discovery, and rail travel offers a unique way to experience a destination,” she says.
The collection offers journeys across Europe, Asia, North America, Australia and New Zealand, with each itinerary escorted by a Travelmarvel tour director and local guides, with premium accommodation and porterage between hotels. Agents can also upsell with Travelmarvel’s Enhance Your Journey options, she adds.
