Trafalgar has revamped its river cruise group policy, introducing new Soft Allocations that give agents an immediate, risk-free proposal to present, and hard allocations that lock in inventory for groups ready to commit.

The new Soft Allocation stream, it says, allows agents to hold pricing at time of quoting based on cabin category, though space is subject to availability, confirmed only upon receipt of a standard $350pp guest deposit. Hard Allocation lets agents exclusively block space for those who deposit $800 per cabin, and offers fully refundable deposits up to 12 months prior to departure.
. . . Group Perks
Under the updated policy, group bookings of certain sizes also unlock tailored incentives, including one FOC twin-share place for every group of eight or 10 guests, plus a choice between an exclusive $200pp group discount or the active in-market tactical offer.
There’s also access to exclusive group amenity points, it adds.
Trafalgar is also expanding its whole-ship charter offerings, which includes net pricing, flexible payment structures and dedicated support from local group specialists.
