Regent Seven Seas Cruises is celebrating its sixth annual Travel Advisor Appreciation Month with a series of recorded discussions on destinations, voyages and included shore excursions across Japan, Monaco, Italy and Canada.
The cruise line has partnered with tourism boards on the series, which it says aims to uncover the stories, flavours and experiences that make each destination worth discovering.
“These easy-to-access destination discussions and marketing toolkits are our way of saying thank you to [our trade partners],” says Lisa Pile, Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ md luxury group Asia Pacific.

Each week agents can listen to short discussions via pre-recorded video.
“From local food and fascinating history to unforgettable experiences, each discussion will come with a ready-to-use marketing toolkit to help travel partners turn destination inspiration into bookings,” it adds.
The first video, out today, is on Japan. Regent’s global luxury brand ambassador Steve Odell and Harriett Bougher from the Japan National Tourism Organization discuss the story of Nagasaki, Japan’s international heritage, its historic trading quarters and how agents can sell it to clients travelling with Regent. Next week’s session (10 Nov) focuses on Monaco. Odell will be joined by Clair Neil from Tourism Monaco, taking a fresh look at Monte Carlo and Monaco beyond the superyachts and race circuit and how to experience the prinicpality with Regent.
On 17 Nov, Regent’s Anji Montgomerie and Emanuele Attanasio from the Italian National Tourist Board will talk ab out Bari’s authentic traditions, from walking through the streets where locals hand-make orecchiette pasta to discovering the seafront promenade and ancient churches.
Last in the series, out 24 Nov, is on Quebec City, showcasing the European side of Canada. This session is led by Regent’s Stacey Hill, who will be joined by Nathan McLoughlin from Destination Canada. See the sessions HERE.
