Kiwi agents were among those on Qantas’ inaugural flight between Auckland and Samoa last month.
The group of top-selling consultants, hosted by QF and the Samoa Tourism Authority, stayed on Upolu and Savai’i, and also inspected Samoa’s accommodation options from resorts to boutique beachfront properties and traditional beach fales. The group also took in the Samoa Cultural Village, Robert Louis Stevenson Museum, the iconic To Sua Ocean Trench, Lalomanu Beach and the Savaia Giant Clam Sanctuary.
QF is operating a thrice-weekly 737 service on the route, departing Auckland Tue, Thu and Sun. The move reinforces QF’s commitment to New Zealand, investing in meaningful, first-hand destination experiences to support agents in driving future bookings, says QF. The carrier’s regional marketing manager Emily Rose hosted the famil in conjunction with QF’s local sales operations manager Aloma Butler and the STA team.
