The Qantas Group is celebrating 25 years since it established Jetconnect, it’s cabin crew and pilot operations based in New Zealand.
Since its founding, the New Zealand crew base has grown into a community of more than 1000 pilots, cabin crew and other operational staff, based across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
Together, they have accumulated more than 5100 combined years of flying experience, adds QF. QF rgm New Zealand and Pacific Islands, Michael Gulliver says New Zealand-based crew fly one of the world’s busiest routes across the Tasman and QF’s long-haul operations.
The group is expanding operations within and from this country, adds QF, which has operated transtasman flights for 65 years.
