Ponant Explorations has opened its 2028 Arctic program offering 35 voyages May-Oct, taking in the geographic North Pole as well as Greenland, Svalbard, Iceland and North America.
Season highlights include Le Commandant Charcot exploring the geographic North Pole, with its eight voyages here including return flights between Paris and Longyearbyen.
Itineraries include an 18-night voyage ex Longyearbyen to Reykjavik, combining a visit to the North Pole with northern Greenland. The vessel will also sail the Northwest Passage and the Greenlandic High Arctic, with itineraries including a 15-night Disko Bay: Meeting the Inuit & Discovering the Unknown ex Nuuk to Greenland.
Also notable is the seven-night Unexplored Svalbard aboard Le Lyrial, sailing roundtrip ex Longyearbyen, as well as 100% Icelandic itineraries featuring visits to the islands of Grímsey and Heimaey, and North American
voyages taking in UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as L’Anse aux Meadows and Gros Morne National Park. Find out more details HERE.
