Norwegian Cruise Line has opened bookings for its 2028 season, and while it is offering more than 450 voyages, agents are still being urged to book clients sooner rather than later.
“It’s never too early to start planning your next holiday,” says Ben Angell, NCL’s md Asia-Pacific.
The season consists of three- to 14-day voyages exploring nearly 150 destinations. Highlights include ships spending approximately 80% of each sailing in port with an average call exceeding 10 hours, and 175 overnight stays and late departures across 53 destinations
. . . Northern Europe
Itineraries for 2028 include Norwegian Jewel’s seven-, nine- and 10-day cruises between London, Copenhagen and Helsinki, and Norwegian Getaway’s 10- and 11-day Northern Europe itineraries between London and Reykjavik, which will take place during the height of the midnight sun season.
. . . Sth Pacific
Closer to home options include 11- to 13-day South Pacific itineraries through New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Samoa, the Cook Islands, French Polynesia and Hawai‘i. For the more intrepid there’s the seven-day Alaska voyages aboard Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Joy, sailing roundtrip ex Seattle.
. . . The Med
Mediterranean options include Norwegian Dawn’s series of 10- to 11-day voyages between Lisbon, Barcelona, Rome and Venice that boast almost no days at sea, and Norwegian Viva’s nine-, 10- and 12-day voyages between Rome and Venice as well as Barcelona and Istanbul, these including overnight stays in the Turkish city. For voyages to the Greek Isles, Norwegian Epic will sail nine- to 12-day circle itineraries ex Rome.
. . . Caribbean
Those seeking sun are also recommended Norwegian Aqua’s three- and four-night voyages to Great Stirrup Cay, and Norwegian Aura’s seven-day roundtrip Eastern Caribbean voyages, both sailing ex Miami, as well as Norwegian Gem’s seven-day Bermuda sailings ex Philadelphia.
