G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions have expanded their partnership, adding 30 new itineraries geared to those looking for purposeful connections made with the people who live in, work in and help protect the destination.

There’s 24 new National Geographic Journeys with G Adventures which include an eight-day Journeys: Wildlife of the Galapagos Islands, where clients will meet the conservationists working to protect Galápagos wildlife, and spend time with scientists at the Charles Darwin Research Station.
Closer to home, the eight-day Journeys: Best of Northern Thailand, includes sitting with monks at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep after evening chanting, a traditional cooking class and hiking the jungle trails of Kanchanaburi.
The eight-day Journeys: Iconic Christmas Markets, visits Christmas markets, includes a cooking class with a local chef in Prague and a chocolate-making workshop in Budapest.

There’s also six updated National Geographic Family Journeys with G Adventures, which now feature Junior Explorers Night where children get their own evening to connect with other kids, take part in guided activities and enjoy a Made Together Moment.
New tours include the nine-day Peru Family Journey: The Amazon & Machu Picchu, with nighttime wildlife walks in the Amazon and ceramic painting, and a 12-day Southeast Asia Family Journey: Halong Bay and Angkor Wat where children will learn to make noodles and cruise Halong Bay. See HERE.
