National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions is expanding its 2028–29 program with new itineraries across Central and South America, including a 15-day expedition linking Costa Rica and Panama, and Peru-Galápagos combo offers.

Lindblad Expeditions chief expedition officer Trey Byus says the program is designed to offer greater depth and access, with smaller vessels allowing exploration beyond the reach of larger ships.
Highlights include eight Galápagos itineraries ranging from seven to 17 days, operating aboard four vessels. Extended back-to-back sailings will also give guests more time to explore the archipelago, it adds.
A new Peru and Galápagos Escape in 2029 combines visits to Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu with an expedition cruise through the Galápagos.
In Central America, the new 15-day Epic Costa Rica and Panama itinerary connects Pacific wilderness, rainforest, the Pearl Islands and the Panama Canal. An expanded eight-day Guanacaste program also provides additional time to explore.
The Amazon program (pictured) will operate Nov 2028-Oct 2029 aboard the Delfin II and Delfin III, with exploration by skiff, kayak and on foot.
Other additions include new Baja California departures focused on whale encounters and the Gulf of California, alongside an Egypt itinerary aboard the 44-guest Oberoi Philae, travelling between Cairo and Abu Simbel.
The complete deployment builds on the company’s partnership with National Geographic, with expedition leaders, naturalists, historians and photographers accompanying voyages. See the full 2028–29 program and itineraries HERE
