All the hard work, the weekends spent at expos and a few years of going the extra mile for her industry clients paid off for Fiji Airways sales rep Brittany Homan, who was named the NTIA 2026 Travel Industry Representative Of The Year.

Humbled by her win, especially considering the high calibre of the other finalists, Homan says she’s still on a high after receiving the top honour.
“It’s also a win for our Fiji Airways team. We’re such a small team, but we give 110%. Sheryn took a chance on me, and I’ve made it my goal that everyone knows about Fiji Airways. I wouldn’t be here without Sheryn’s support, and Felicia is amazing as well. We’re a small but tight team.”
Homan set her mind to winning the award last year, but says she still can’t believe ‘she did it’. Now she says she’s even more determined to further grow the FJ pro file.
“I just want to keep making our exposure bigger and better, I feel like I am the walking Fiji Airways brand—I want to make sure everyone in New Zealand knows about our product. And this award just makes me more determined.”
At the same time, FJ country manager Sheryn Ambler has congratulated Homan on her win, and her commitment to the airline sand the industry.
“She is well known and recognized in the industry which shows her passion and dedication to FJ. She loves the connection with agents and consumers alike at travel shows and the hosting of famils.”
. . . The Why
Homan, who worked at Flight Centre for a couple of years before taking on the FJ job, says Kiwi travel agents are a big part of her ‘why’.
“Agents are a huge part of the job, and seeing them get excited and inspired by Fiji Airways is so rewarding. I’ve been in their shoes, so I try to help them as much as I can.”
Homan also extended a thanks to all of those who voted for her and promises to continue to give 110% to help agents sell FJ to Fiji, and beyond.
