Holland America Line has announced the Holland America Evolution, a multi-year investment to reimagine six of its ships.

The project will take place ship by ship with a focus on expanding onboard choice, restaurant and bar options, and refreshing and reinventing guest spaces.
“Our guests have been very clear about what they love about our ships and what they want to see more of, and Holland America Evolution is our answer to that,” says Holland America Line president Beth Bodensteiner.
“This investment allows us to introduce experiences and venues that are new to the fleet, add Pinnacle Class favourites like the Grand Dutch Café, and create new stateroom categories designed for the way people travel today, all while preserving the perfectly-sized ship experience that defines Holland America.”
. . . Ships
The evolution will span four Vista Class ships including Oosterdam, Zuiderdam, Westerdam and Noordam, as well as two Signature Class ships including Nieuw Amsterdam and Eurodam.
The company will invest over USD500 million across these ships. Oosterdam will be the first ship to undergo renovations and will debut in 2027.
. . . Suites
New suites will be added to enhance client choice and flexibility. Thirty Solo Verandas will feature a private balcony, dedicated workspace and full amenities.
The two new Bridgeview Suites will offer 180-degree ocean views, wraparound balconies and separate living and sleeping areas.
The reimagined Pinnacle Suite offers a refined living space, panoramic views, a private balcony, separate living room, powder room, bedroom, ensuite bath and walk-in closet.
Twenty-four Vista Suites will debut on the Oosterdam, offering light-filled premium accommodations with a sitting area and private veranda. See updates on the project HERE.
