Hapag-Lloyd Cruises says its five luxury and expedition ships offer fresh experiences for even the most seasoned travellers in 2027/28 itineraries.

New routes across the fleet include its first winter season in the Indian Ocean; what Hapag-Lloyd says is the only cruise combining all five Great Lakes (pictured) with the St. Lawrence River; in-depth explorations of the Philippines; and a new journey along the American West Coast.

Europa will debut a 29-day voyage ex Valparaiso to San Francisco, taking in South, Central and North America across eight countries, from Peru and Costa Rica. In 2028, Europa will also offer its first in-depth Philippines cruise featuring 13 calls at 10 ports. Europa 2 makes inaugural visits to Papua New Guinea and Palau, while another new itinerary explores Costa Rica’s Pacific coast with calls at Isla Tortuga and Puerto Jiménez.

For the first time, Hanseatic Nature will spend the 2027/28 winter season in the Indian Ocean, exploring Madagascar, the Seychelles and Mauritius, while there are three new 14-day voyages in early 2028 dedicated entirely to South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula. In summer 2027, Hanseatic Inspiration will combine the five Great Lakes with the St. Lawrence River on a single voyage, while in May 2028 Hanseatic Spirit will debut a new expedition through Western Australia’s Kimberley region.
