G Adventures has launched Stay Flexy Adventure Plans, three-tier flexible booking options giving travellers greater choice over what happens to their money if their plans change—and for agents, it’s another selling tool.
Sean Martin, G Adventures md ANZ, says the final moment of hesitation is often driven by uncertainty, rather than a lack of desire to travel. “Having flexible booking options helps remove that uncertainty and offers travellers peace of mind when they lock in their adventure.”
Flexy is commissioned at the same rate as the tour itself and is non-refundable, so commission is protected.
Martin says trip add-ons, such as pre- or post-nights or transfers, are also automatically protected by an existing flexible booking option at no extra cost, including those added at a later date. “It’s designed to be a genuinely useful product for agents, not another thing to explain at the point of sale,” he says.

Flexy is G Adventures’ standard flexible option, offering a full refund with lifetime deposit kept on file for trips cancelled 60+ days pre departure. This drops to up to 50% for trips cancelled within 59–30 subject to cancellation terms and lifetime deposit. For cancellations within 29 days of departure, the lifetime deposit is retained, the remainder subject to cancellation fees.
Flexier combines an extended cancellation window with extras, including 1GB travel eSim, lost luggage protection of up to USD500, priority service and double trees planted. There’s a refund with lifetime deposit for cancellations within 60+ days before departure, or a 50% refund with the remainder split between lifetime deposit and future travel credit for cancellations 59–30 days before travel, and a lifetime deposit and future travel credit for cancellations 29–21 days prior to travel. For 20 days or less, the lifetime deposit is retained, the remainder subject to cancellation fees.
Flexiest offers 3GB eSim, lost luggage up to USD1000, priority service and double the trees. Cancellations 60+ days before departure feature a refund, with lifetime deposit kept on file. Cancellations within 59–21 days include a 50% refund, with the remainder split between lifetime deposit and future travel credit. Cancellations within 20–five days, have lifetime deposit and future travel credit. Those cancelling within four days get a lifetime deposit retained, the remainder subject to cancellation fees.
