Wearable tech combined with in-lounge treatments are among the wellness offerings available for Fiji Airways’ premium passengers in the carrier’s latest initiative, designed to ease the impact of long-haul travel on its passengers and crew.
The FlyWell program brings together a range of science-backed products and experiences which will be available on board and in the Fiji Airways Premier Lounge at Nadi International Airport, ranging from high-tech to mental performance drinks.
The carrier’s md and ceo Paul Scurrah says it marks an import ant step towards FJ’s mission of being the World’s Happiest Airline.
FJ set out to create something that genuinely makes a difference to the wellbeing of its passengers and crew, going beyond traditional airline offerings, says Scurrah, with a suite of in-flight products and lounge experiences not typically seen in aviation.

Highlighted products include access to Firefly Recovery, a clinically validated device worn on the lower leg designed to help promote circulation, and Ra Optics Sunset Lenses, which help regulate light exposure in the aircraft cabin to support natural sleep cycles.
In FJ’s Premier Lounge, Red Light Therapy will be available in dedicated spaces and Aires EMF protection technology will be installed, helping mitigate expo sure to electromagnetic radiation. Both products will also feature in the crew lounge at NAN.
The wellness program includes the appointment of brand champion Da Rulk, a globally recognised expert in performance and recovery, charged with spearheading ‘a new era’ of wellbeing with FJ.

FlyWell goes live on 01 Jun, and will initially be offered free to business class passengers on flights between Nadi, San Francsico and Los Angeles, before becoming available for sale from Aug. There are plans for additional wellness solutions to be added, FJ says. See more HERE.
