Musket Cove Island Resort & Marina is marking 50 years of operations in 2026, and it’s using the milestone to highlight to the trade its plans including a more sustainable offering.

Current owners Will and Josephine Moffat are looking ahead with purpose, with a goal to preserve what makes Musket Cove special, while embracing practical, environmentally sound development that supports the future of the resort.
Planned changes include more environmentally sustainable practices, building on current efforts that include improving energy efficiency, reducing waste through re-use and recycling, using eco-friendly mate rials where possible, and supporting locally-sourced goods and services.
Environmental initiatives such as supporting mangrove, coastal seeding and dry forest rejuvenation efforts in conjunction with Fiji’s forestry and fishery departments will also continue.
