Explore Worldwide has new 2027 itineraries, which regional director Australia New Zealand Ben Ittensohn says caters to a rising demand for holidays that offer ‘more than just the main sights’.
The new touring options span Europe, Asia and Latin America. For Kiwi travel agents, Ittensohn says the move offers their clients more choice across some of the world’s most popular destinations, as well as opportunities to introduce clients to lesser-explored regions.
“We’ve also continued to develop a broad mix of travel styles, from walking and wildlife to food and cultural experiences, so agents can match the right itinerary to a wide range of customer interests.”

The new tour additions include an eight-day Walking in Provence itinerary, described as a leisurely walking adventure exploring Luberon Regional Natural Park and historic villages such as Gordes and Roussillon. Tour prices start from $4920per person. For the wildlife lover there’s the new eight-day Highlights of Sumatra, from $2340pp, that includes the opportunity for clients to search for orangutans in Gunung Leuser National Park.
Culture seekers may enjoy the eight-day Essential Japan: Tokyo, Mount Fuji and Kyoto, priced from $6690pp, which includes Kyoto’s historic temples, shrines and geisha districts.
