Coral Expeditions has released more solo departures in response to demand, is opening bookings for solo cabins earlier, and launching a new range of hosted departures.
The moves follow data from Scoot that predicts the global solo travel market will grow 14.3% annually through to 2030, with the Asia-Pacific region expected to grow even faster at 16.1% a year.
The cruise line says it has a record number of No Solo Supplement Departures on long-lead voyages, with select cabins now available with no solo supplement.
It has also extended its Solo Traveller Standby Offers, now open for sales with no solo supplement 60+ days prior to departure rather than the previous 30.
. . . Hosted Solos
The cruise line is also releasing a select number of new Hosted Solo Traveller Group departures, escorted voyages with dedicated crew hosts that are geared towards first-time solo expedition guests.
Coral Expeditions cco Jeff Gillies says that the expanded Solo Traveller Program is focused on providing greater choice and accessibility.
“From dedicated no-solo-supplement departures and standby opportunities to our new hosted solo traveller groups, we’re making it easier than ever for guests to experience the world with confidence, comfort and flexibility,” he says.
The cruise line has also launched a new dedicated Solo Travel webpage, which it says is designed to make it easier for guests comparing voyage options, fares and availability. Check it out HERE.
