Complete Ltd says it has consolidated its TAANZ and IATA members under one umbrella bond, less than three months after launching on 01 Jul.
“This is the first time a co-operative agency group has had a group full bond approved by TAANZ,” says Complete md Malcolm MacLeod.
“Subject to normal TAANZ criteria, new Complete agency members can be covered under the umbrella bond through either a subscription or a cash advance held in trust.”
A core group of members, with Complete Ltd, has funded the bond. Those members will also benefit from the fund as a financial investment, separate from overrides and dividends, adds MacLeod.
“Now that the Complete Bond is in place, the foundations are set and the drive for growth can now commence,” he adds.
. . . Complete Fares
At the same time the Complete Ltd board has approved an investment in new fares and ticketing technology being developed with an Auckland-based software company.
“Complete Fares ticketing platform will be GDS agnostic with all three major GDS companies and be fully operational to support self-write and consolidation,” says Complete gm Paul Smith.
Complete says the platform is expected to roll out in the fourth quarter. The team will also support specialty fares such as wholesale, cruise and private fare offerings including NDC servicing, he adds.
