More than AUD100 million is expected to be injected into the New South Wales visitor economy in Oct and beyond with what NSW premier Chris Minns says is a blockbuster line-up of major events across the state.

Ahead of the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 (01 Oct-13 Nov 2027), Accor Stadium is hosting an historic international 2026 Bledisloe Cup quadruple header on 17 Oct, bringing together Australia’s four senior rugby teams on one day for the first time and featuring men’s and women’s international sevens and 15-a-side matches, before the Wallabies take on the All Blacks in the Bledisloe Cup.
A number of events have been or are under way, and in the arts DJ Anyma (pictured) presents ÆDEN (17 Oct) and K-Pop groups BIGBANG (31 Oct) round out the month.
Other upcoming events are IRONMAN Port Macquarie (18 Oct) and events at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle including Foo Fighters (12 Nov), Robbie Williams (17 Nov) and the, AUSX Supercross Championship Grand Final (28 Nov). Then there’s Ultra-Trail Kosciuszko by UTMB (26- 28 Nov) and the Australian PGA Champion-ship (26-29 Nov), Guns N’ Roses (08 Dec), Harry Styles (12 Dec) and Iron Maiden (15 Dec) concerts.
