Tourism Australia’s global agent event, G’day Australia, was staged in Darwin earlier this month (13-15 Oct), attended by a 10-strong Kiwi delegation.
The event included an agent workshop and famil, with 300 Aussie specialist agents from around the globe attending. Offered in partnership with Tourism and Events Northern Territory and Air New Zealand, the program took Kiwi delegates to Darwin and its surrounding national parks before heading off on post-famils in South Australia or Victoria designed to encourage the agents to become advocates and sell Australia with confidence.
“G’day Australia was such a fantastic experience, from the wonderful hospitality of the Northern Territory to the incredible scenery and wildlife of Victoria. Cruising alongside dolphins and humpback whales at Wilsons Promontory was a real highlight and something I’’ll never forget,” says Adventure Travel’s Hayley Cook who has come home feeling inspired, with some new industry connections and experiences to share with her clients.
