A group of Kiwi agents has returned from a famil of South Australia and Western Australia which included the iconic Indian Pacific rail journey.
The agents set off after the Australian Tourism Exchange, departing the Adelaide railway station, for the two-night ride to Perth. Onboard, high lights included gourmet meals with local ingredients, the landscapes of the Nullarbor, dinner under the stars in Rawlinna and exploring the living ghost town of Cook.
The agents also viewed the train’s two new Australis luxury suites. In Perth, the group took a walking tour with Oh Hey! WA, and visited Rottnest Island before staying in the new Garde Hotel in Fremantle. They also visited a gin distillery and dined at Emily Taylor Bar & Kitchen. The final day was spent in the Swan Valley, enjoying a Bush Tucker Talk and Tasting experience with Dale Tilbrook, blending wine at Mandoon Estate, lunching at Sandalford Wines and a site inspection of the Crown Towers Perth.
The famil was hosted by Journey Beyond, the South Australia Tourism Commission and Tourism Western Australia. See all photos HERE.
