APEX: The Best Seat, Wifi & Service

Asian and Middle Eastern Airlines have been highlighted as the best in the world in the APEX Best Awards, which recognises the airlines that excel in seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment and wifi—with Air New Zealand also getting a mention locally.

Korean Air won Best Cabin Service, EVA Air claimed Best Seat Comfort, while Emirates and Qatar Airways took out Best Entertainment and Best Food & Beverage, respectively. There was one American winner on the global stage, Delta Air Lines, recognised for Best Wi-Fi.

In the South Pacific region, Air New Zealand was named Best Overall Airline, with other winners including Fiji Airways recognised for Best Cabin Service and Best Food & Beverages, while Qantas won Best Wi-Fi and Best Entertainment. Best Seat Comfort went to Virgin Australia.

Best Overall Airline in Central/ Southern Asia was Air Astana, with Singapore Airlines taking out the title in East Asia and EVA Air in China.

Africa’s Best Overall Airline was Ethiopian Airlines, and Europe’s was Virgin Atlantic Airways, with Emirates coming out on top in the Middle East and Aeromexico in North America. Rounding out the list was Azul, Best Overall Airline South America. See the list of winners HERE.
