Agents can now secure voyages across AmaWaterways’ 2028 season, and there’s more choice for New Zealanders, as the cruise line continues to grow.
AmaNubia joins the fleet later this year, followed by AmaMaya, AmaFiora, AmaRudi and AmaCleo in 2027.
In 2028 AmaMaria will debut on the Rhine and AmaGaia on the Douro River.
Steve Richards, AmaWaterways md ANZ says for Kiwi travellers who tend to plan a big international holiday well ahead, having choice available now is a real advantage, and he adds there’s a lot for agents to work with.
“We’ve got new ships, new ways to explore destinations and more opportunities to extend a river cruise with time on land,” he adds. “It gives advisors some genuinely fresh reasons to talk to clients about Ama and start planning that next trip together.”
Highlights of the 2028 season, alongside new ships, include new French itinerary the 10- and 11-night Elegance of Burgundy & Provence, sailing the Rhône and Saône rivers in Jul and Aug. There’s also more pre- and post-cruise land packages across Europe, including stays in Krakow, Nuremberg, Basel, Luxembourg, Brussels, Lyon, Aix- en-Provence, Dijon and Porto.
For Kiwis, a river cruise is very often part of a much bigger international holiday, so planning ahead makes sense, adds Richards. “Opening 2028 now means guests can really build the trip they want, with more choice around where they go, when they travel and the stateroom they choose.”
AmaWaterways is also offering up to $4000 off staterooms, for bookings to 30 Sep. See details HERE.
