Auckland Airport has revealed the new dining options opening in its international terminal this year, with Burgerfuel, Starbucks and NZ Pie Co & Croissant Lab among the line-up.
Pasta spot Needo, TJ Katsu offering Japanese, Vietnamese eatery Roll’d, and Haha offering Korean fried chicken, will also be available, as well as cafés including Auckland Coffee Exports and The Local, and Fernery Eatery & Bar, this replacing the popular Wondertree.
AKL’s head of retail Lucy Thomas says the airport is bringing together a mix of Kiwi operators and brands, experienced airport food and beverage partners and recognised international names to give travellers more choice before they fly.
“We’ve worked hard to create a food and beverage offering that gives people a reason to head through security a little earlier and start their journey well,” she adds.
These outlets join Best Ugly Bagels and Vantage Bar & Kitchen, both of which are being refurbished, as well as Soul Origin.
The airport also reports a change for landside dining with Oma’s Bakery and Blue Marble Bar updated to become The Social, a new-look café, bar and restaurant. KFC and McDonald’s will remain, with further brands to come as the airport upgrades continue. Keep up HERE to stay up to date with the changes.
