Kiwi travel agents are being offered the chance to attend the Mid-Atlantic Tradeshow in Reykjavik Iceland 28–31 Jan, for a participation fee, advises Icelandair GSA Discover The World Marketing.

It’s EUR450 for registrations paid by 15 Jun or EUR450 for bookings 16 Jun-31 Oct. That fee includes return economy class flights from a point on the Icelandair network (for Kiwis the best option is said to be Vancouver) to Keflavik, all taxes and fees, return airport transfers, a welcome reception, lunch and coffee breaks, two networking dinners and a Sat excursion, hosted by Icelandair partners.
. . . The Details
The airfares to an available point on the FI network are at the consultant’s own expense and hotel costs are extra, but Icelandair has negotiated discounted rates at partner hotels for show participants.
The trade event is held biennially, brings together key industry partners and offers a valuable platform for networking, collaboration, and business development.
Plus, late Jan’s extended hours of darkness offer a greater chance to see the Aurora Borealis (with photography tips provided). Show participants are also urged to pack their togs to try Iceland’s warm geothermal pools.
“This is a unique opportunity for Kiwi travel agents to connect with global industry leaders while experiencing everything Iceland has to offer in an engaging and curated setting,” says Discover The World. See more details on the Iceland trade show HERE. And for agent queries, e-mail HERE.
