Kiwi agents experienced two of China’s most iconic cities, Beijing and Shanghai, with Wendy Wu Tours on a recent famil.
After flying into Beijing, agents explored Gubei Watertown, a recreated ancient town, and took a cable car up to the Simatai section of the Great Wall.
They experienced part of the Jinshanling Great Wall hike and dined on a traditional Peking Duck Dinner.
They also visited Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace, before heading to Shanghai. Here the highlights included visits to the Yu Garden and the Old Town, strolling along the Bund and visiting a silk mill.
The agents also took the Maglev train, an evening cruise on the Huangpu River and had a day out to Suzhou, touring its gardens and cruising along its Grand Canal.
