Trafalgar says the Kiwi traveller response to river cruise product has exceeded expectations, as the brand launches a new sales incentive to win a place on Trafalgar Harmonie’s inaugural Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy sailing next year.

TTC Tour Brands deputy ceo and chief sales officer Melissa DaSilva says river cruising is an exciting growth opportunity for agents, and that the incentive is another way Trafalgar is investing in consultants’ success.
Trafalgar River’s 10-day Best of the Rhine and Amsterdam itinerary has emerged as the most popular option with Kiwi travellers, closely followed by its Best of the Danube sailing, while the majority of Kiwi demand has been for its Jun-Aug cruises, says Louise Levesque, TTC’s partner marketing director Oceania.
“We’re also seeing strong interest from solo travellers. River cruising continues to appeal to independent travellers looking for a safe, social and immersive way to experience Europe’s most iconic destinations,” she adds.
. . . Limited Xmas
The ‘exceptionally strong’ Kiwi response to Trafalgar’s River Cruising Spotlight Savings means there’s now limited space on its Danube Christmas Markets departures. However, Levesque says there’s still some availability on its Rhine Christmas Markets cruises. But she urges agents to book interested clients ‘sooner rather than later’ to avoid disappointment. The brand also has a range of short-life offers for its 2027 river sailings.
. . . Incentive
The top-selling agents in Australia or New Zealand, who have booked a minimum of five qualifying passengers over the incentive, will be in to win a place on the French river cruise departing 18 Apr, including flights.
Plus, consultants can earn a $150 e-gift card for every client booked on a Trafalgar river cruise by 31 Jul, if they submit qualifying bookings with promo code TR26EARN during the incentive window.
Group charter bookings are excluded and scheduled group bookings only qualify for the incentive when per person depos its are received by 31 Jul. See more details HERE.
