GFOB Showcases Discovery & More

The Globus Family of Brands (GFOB) last night hosted a Small Group Discovery evening in Auckland to showcase its fast-growing small group tours.

The tours, offered globally, have a maximum of 18 guests in Europe and 24 on the other continents.

They are designed for travellers who want experiences with epic proportions like private wine tastings or a cooking class in Hua Hin.

The smaller group size means the tours can stay in small and unique accommodation such as a 16-tent camp in the Serengeti.

. . . Solo Demand Up

GFOB also updated Kiwi agents on its wider touring portfolio and the growing demand from solo travellers, who it says are becoming ‘super, super popular’ on Avalon Waterways and its touring products. “A lot of our Avalon departures have a single supplement waiver,” says GFOB business development manager Angela Jordan.

In addition GFOB has released solo supplement offers for Cosmos, has waived solo supplements for some UK/Europe product, and has up to 50% off single supplements on its North America tours.

. . . New Brochures

GFOB’s new 2027 UK & Europe brochures are out, and include an eight-day Switzerland By Train itinerary ex Zurich, as well as its Soul of Portugal small group discovery tour. These can be combined with a seven-night Douro River cruise.
