European Waterways is adding a range of new experiences and expanding into Brittany for 2027.
A Brittany new cruise will sail between Josselin and Redon aboard the six-passenger Nymphea, with highlights including a private visit to Château de Josselin, the ancient standing stones of Monteneuf and dinner at Michelin-starred Maison Tiegezh.
Burgundy itineraries aboard the eight-passenger Finesse and 12-passenger L’Impressionniste will feature new experiences such as the chance to explore the medieval Château de Germolles, while cruises aboard the 12-passenger La Belle Epoque and eight-passenger L’Art de Vivre will visit the 12th-century Château de Bazoches, with both experiences including a falconry demonstration.
The eight-passenger Anjodi sails the Canal du Midi and from 2027 includes a meal at Château Canet, a family-owned wine and olive estate in the Minervois region.
Rounding out the list of new experiences in 2027 is the chance to visit the historic Tullamore D.E.W.
Distillery and Birr Castle, available on River Shannon cruises aboard the 10-passenger Shannon Princess.
