Seabourn Releases Antarctica Experts

Seabourn has released the ‘accomplished roster’ of polar experts, scientists, researchers, naturalists, historians and expedition leaders that will feature on its ships sailing in Antarctica in 2026/27.

The line-up includes marine mammal scientist and polar expert Dr. Sean Todd, wildlife expert and conservationist Brent Houston, and JJ Apestegui, who is an ornithologist and expedition naturalist.

Archaeologist and Viking scholar Dr. Elizabeth Pierce, marine biologist Molly Gaughan, geologist Dr. Lori Snyder, astronomer and indigenous cultures specialist Vishwa Rana, and marine ornithologist Kim Stevens are also joining the fold.

The cruise line’s vp expeditions Robin West says their expertise is what sets Seabourn’s expedition voyages apart. “Whether identifying wildlife from a Zodiac, explaining the forces that shape a glacier, or sharing stories of legendary expeditions, they help bring each journey to life in a meaningful way,” West says.
