SQ Offers A Taste Of Cabin Overhaul

Singapore Airlines has begun rolling out new food across all cabins ahead of the big reveal of its all-new in-flight travel experience later in 2026.

The product revamp includes next-generation long-haul cabin products, a refreshed KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system, new amenity kits, as well as enhancements to the in-flight dining experience. From 2027, SQ will progressively introduce Starlink’s low Earth orbit satellite-based broadband service.

SQ has previously said it is investing SGD1.1 billion in a multi-year program to install its all-new long haul cabin products across 41 Airbus A350-900 long-haul and ultra-long-range (ULR) aircraft, redefining the premium travel experience on its network.

. . . Menu Changes

SQ has begun to progressively roll out the new dishes, while further dining enhancements, including new beverages, serviceware, and onboard service touches, will be rolled out from next month. More than 100 new and refreshed dishes are being introduced across all cabin classes with expanded beverage offerings, including new wine and spirits options and custom-designed Christofle serviceware for suites, first class, and business class. Yeoh Phee Teik, senior vp customer experience, says in-flight dining is about much more than the meal itself. “Guided by customer feedback, evolving preferences and emerging dining trends, we have reviewed every aspect of the experience.”

The new in-flight menu has been developed by SQ’s in-house and guest chefs, in collaboration with its catering partners, and it brings together comforting and familiar flavours, regional favourites, reimagined classics, and new dishes.
