“The Mekong offers such a special way to discover Vietnam and Cambodia, bringing guests into close contact with the people and traditions of the region,” says AmaWaterways ceo Catherine Powell. The ship is contemporary and refined, with the feel and influence of Indochine throughout, she adds.

The 120-guest ship will sail AmaWaterways’ Charms of the Mekong and Riches of the Mekong itineraries, offering elevated accommodation, locally-inspired cuisine and spaces designed for connection and relaxation, it says.

Passengers sailing on Ama’s Charms of the Mekong can extend their trip with a three-night Bangkok stay, while Riches of the Mekong itinerary offers a choice of a four-night Central Vietnam or a three-night BKK extension, it adds.
