Air New Zealand has increased capacity to destinations including Queenstown, Sydney and Brisbane, ahead of the coming school holiday travel peak.

The airline says during the school holiday period more than 520,000 customers will fly domestically, and almost 330,000 internationally, as it flags the busiest days including 25 Sep and 02 and 09 Oct.
NZ chief operations officer ground and inflight, Kate Boyer, says NZ’s teams have been preparing for the holiday traffic surge for weeks, with a goal of sustaining its recent strong on-time performance even through this busy period.
The carrier says it has also spent time ensuring the flight experience is enjoyable for families, including the return of its Kia Ora Kids magazine onboard, and for those not flying, NZ’s Plane Spotter’s Guide is back too, available HERE.
