Air New Zealand has updated its schedule for Oct 2026–Feb 2027, and while the carrier does not list the differences, it advises it is making a small number of changes considering current fuel prices.

The GDSs are being progressively updated, and PNRs updated with a UN/TK status. Agents are asked to check queues for affected bookings and make any necessary booking adjustments. The carrier advises that in the situation that all sectors are on NZ and 086 ticket stock, once the customer accepts the schedule change and the booking is updated to HK status, e-tickets will revalidate automatically.
Note that internal systems and documents will need to be updated as usual. Impacted clients will have flexibility as per NZ’s Schedule Change policy, with this including the ability to opt for a full refund.
NZ advises that no approval is required when booking out of class if an OSI should reflect the change (OSINZ booked out of class due SC on NZ***). Where a ticket reissue is required the endorsement box should clearly state the reason (SKCHG NZ***).
. . . Agency Support
In light of the changes, and expected increase in enquiries, agents are asked to only call Agency Sales for urgent or imminent travel matters, adds NZ.
