Singapore Airlines’ suites are available from Auckland year-round for the 2027 northern summer schedule, while those flying with the carrier ex Christchurch will be able to experience first class from May.

SQ has confirmed that its A380 will operate the daily SQ285/286 services between Singapore and Auckland from the northern summer 2027.
For those flying ex Auckland, this means access to suites year-round, as well as more business, premium economy and economy class seats.
Its daily SQ297/298 service between SIN and CHC will continue to be operated by an A350LH through to Apr 2027, before being upgraded to the 777-300ER May-Oct 2027, which features a first class cabin.
SQ says the move is due to strong travel demand, adding that for Kiwi travel agents the enhancement creates even more opportunities for them to capture premium traffic. Find out more on SQ’s suites and first class cabins HERE.
