NCL says new features on Norwegian Aura, its largest ship to date, will set it apart.
This includes new wellness and dining offerings, including a sensory pool where guests can relax to the sound of thunderstorms, a snow cave, and an Indian restaurant.
NCL APAC md Ben Angell, says every addition has been purposefully designed to give guests more freedom, choice and opportunities to relax and enjoy their cruise their way. “Norwegian Aura is all about giving guests more of what they love, with spaces and experiences that make vacations feel even easier.”
The Prima Plus Class vessel’s Mandara Spa will span two decks, home to what NCL says will be the industry’s ‘most expansive’ Thermal Suite, with 15 wellness amenities including a Sensory Rain Pool, a Blue Glow Suite, and a Snow Cave.
The spa will have relaxation spaces, including a Salt Room and a Charcoal Sauna, 24 treatment rooms, a salon, Skin Lab, and expanded medi-spa services. There will be 22 food and beverage options, including Tamara, NCL’s first specialty restaurant dedicated to Indian cuisine. The Panorama Room (pictured) will be reimagined useing immersive visual technology, and Hudson’s Le Bistro, Sukhothai, Hasuki, Nama and Cagney’s Steakhouse will sport a new look, while Palomar, Italian Onda by Scarpetta and Surfside Café will be expanded.
The ship’s public spaces have been refreshed to feel more open, says NCL. Bars and lounges will sport refreshed interiors and expanded layouts. For families ‘fun hub’ Ocean Heights is home to six slides, a multi-level obstacle course, carnival-style games and more. Norwegian Aura will debut on 21 May with a seven-day voyage ex Trieste to Barcelona, before heading to Miami. See HERE.
