Brand USA Ambassadors, including eight Kiwis, gathered in Sydney last week for a three-day launch event, marking the start of the 2026 Global Ambassador Program in Australia and New Zealand, in conjunction with airline partner Qantas.
The event connected 30 ambassadors from Australia and New Zealand with Brand USA’s partners. It also included a panel discussion exploring some of the biggest opportunities shaping travel to the USA.
These included sports tourism, and the opportunities around upcoming major sporting events, the US’ growing accessibility offering and showcasing the nation’s LGBTQ+. The ambassadors will participate in more events and exclusive experiences this year.
