Seabourn will mark 40 years of sailing in 2028, and to mark the milestone it has released 54 new voyages, each featuring onboard enhancements inspired by the Ruby Jubilee, from specialty events to themed entertainment.
Aptly titled The Ruby Collection, itineraries include the 120-day Cape to Cape World Cruise, ex Miami on 07 Jan 2028 including free expedition-style experiences, as well as the cruise line’s second Grand Expedition, the 96-day Pole to Pole, sailing from the High Arctic to Antarctica.
A Yachtsman Collection features Caribbean and Mediterranean voyages inspired by the line’s founding, including a series of seven- to 14-day cruises on Seabourn Ovation between Saint Maarten and Barbados, exploring Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao.
There’s also new itineraries, including a series of Southeast Asia and Japan cruises built around overnights in Shanghai, Osaka, and Kobe aboard Seabourn Encore, as well as a voyage that coincides with Taiwan’s Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival. New Alaska itineraries feature maiden calls to Petersburg, Valdez, and the Chiswell Islands, while a new Canada and New England itinerary marks Seabourn’s return to Red Bay, and new expedition itineraries link Iceland and the British Isles.
Also noteworthy are Southern Hemisphere expeditions, with itineraries that combine Antarctica with the Juan Fernández Islands, Chilean Fjords, the Falklands, South Georgia, and Brazil. There’s also a 12-Day The Atlantic: A Seabourn Conversations Exclusive sailing ex Montreal to Boston on 04 Oct, this featuring ‘leading thinkers and cultural voices’ on board.
