While the FIFA World Cup 2026 is over, Los Angeles Tourism says the city still has plenty to offer sports fans, especially with the upcoming Super Bowl LXI in 2027 and the Olympics in 2028.
The Super Bowl LXI is on 14 Feb 2027 at SoFi Stadium, described as a three-day football-filled event, and agents can gather tips for those heading to the matches HERE.
Then in 2028 Los Angeles will host the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, on 14-30 Jul and 15-27 Aug, respectively.
There are 51 sports in LA28’s Olympic program, including five new or returning sports, including flag football, baseball/softball, lacrosse, squash and cricket.
For those interested in attending, LA Tourism advises that tickets will be sold exclusively through official LA28 channels using a lottery system, with single-event tickets from USD28 (around $48.30) See the details HERE.
The city is also home to numerous sports teams playing throughout the year, including a LA Dodgers game at Dodger Stadium, The Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium and USC Trojans at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, as well as the LA Lakers at Crypto.com Arena.

For those who want to switch things up and add some culture, LA Tourism adds that the city will welcome a series of major cultural openings ahead of both events.
Making a debut by the end of this year will be the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, the new David Geffen Galleries at LACMA, DATALAND and the California Science Center’s Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center. Also worth a mention are the upcoming openings of Universal Studio’s Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift roller coaster and San Pedro’s West Harbor, a waterfront entertainment park. Keep up HERE.
